Gerry Volgenau: Travel Near and Far

gerry.jpgThrough the month of August The Side Door Gallery will be displaying "Travel Near and Far," a photography exhibit by Gerry Volgenau. Gerry Volgenau, well known travel writer-photographer formerly at the Detroit Free Press, has also authored two books, most recently Shipwreck Hunter: Deep, Dark, and Deadly in the Great Lakes. "Travel Near and Far" features Gerry's recent photographs from Vietnam, Thailand and Cuba. View more of Gerry's photography on his website www.penandcompass.com

An opening reception for the show will be held on Friday August 1 from 6-8 PM. Refreshments will be served.
