Announcing “Celebrating Glass”, an exhibit of glass, hallmarking some of the finest glass-artists in Michigan at The Side Door Gallery. March 27, – April 30, 2009. Meet the Artists Reception: Friday, March 27th, 6 – 9pm. The glass artists participating in this exhibit are: Rosemary Shepherd, Gloria Badiner, Fred Birkhill, Annette Baron, Valerie Mann, Ann Wittenkeller, Jerry Catania, Marsi Darwin, Bill Darwin, David Fisher, Sylvia Vigiletti, Christy Kelly-Bentgen and Barbara Yerace, (Curator). A great variety of glass techniques and processes will be represented in this show, handblown, fused, flat, cast and sculpture. We look forward to the opening reception for an opportunity meet and learn about each artist’s individual approach to glass as they share their passion and expertise.
