What's gray or white, squishy and wet, and can be made into any
shape, any size - it can be drawn into, painted on, sanded, carved and
can withstand temperatures above 1000 degrees???
Here's a hint - it can be found at The Side Door Gallery this Saturday, 5 - 7 pm, along with an amazing clay artist from
Petosky, and some refreshments.
Kim Krumrey's creations put the "fun" back in functional. Her
pieces combine fresh graphic drawings in the clay with impeccable
craftsmanship and luscious glazes. She makes smaller functional
pieces, wall-hung pieces in varying sizes and large, rectangular
centerpiece vases.
Join us on Friday August 22 at The Side Door Gallery to celebrate the opening of Jan Ruvido Stebbins' show "Luminous Landscapes" Jan will be there to discuss her work and refreshments will be served. "Lumious Landscapes" will be on display in The Side Door Gallery through September 13.
