What's gray or white, squishy and wet, and can be made into any shape, any size - it can be drawn into, painted on, sanded, carved and can withstand temperatures above 1000 degrees???

Here's a hint - it can be found at The Side Door Gallery this Saturday, 5 - 7 pm, along with an amazing clay artist from Petosky, and some refreshments.

Kim Krumrey's creations put the "fun" back in functional.  Her pieces combine fresh graphic drawings in the clay with impeccable craftsmanship and luscious glazes.  She makes smaller functional pieces, wall-hung pieces in varying sizes and large, rectangular centerpiece vases.

Join us at The Side Door Gallery and find a truly unique gift, handmade here in Michigan! If you can't make it on Saturday, Kim's show, "Bold, Brash and Bright" will be on display through December 30th.
