We are big fans of the Motawi Tileworks.  We have carried and enjoyed their tiles almost as long as they have  been making them and admire them as craftspeople and as a fellow local independent business. A brother and sister team,Nawal and Karim Motawi produce gorgeous polychrome tiles in the arts and crafts tradition but with a distinctly fresh sensibility.  Motawi has recently explored some interesting collaborations, most notably their partnership withe the Frank Lloyd Wright foundation and their wonderful new tiles designed by artist Yoshiko Yamamoto
